Thank you for the fun, from the Enrights
Dear Giolla, I am Olwen, one of the children of your friends Peter and Carmel Enright from your days in Nigeria. It was always such great fun when you came to visit us - so exciting! You came to visit us in Woolwich and in Twickenham and you always brought your sense of fun with you. You may like to know that my brother David (your godson) wrote to you several years ago, and not hearing back from you we believe that the address we had for you must have been out date address. Should anyone from the Mercer family read this message, please feel free to contact me. With love and thanks to you Giolla, for all the fun, Olwen and the Enrights

Sorry for your loss
After not hearing back from him for several months we have just heard of the news. He used to stay with us whenever he came through Lancashire and of course in Nigeria many years ago. He will be missed.

Rest in Peace Giolla

Hello. We were very sad to hear of Giolla's death. We tried to find details of the funeral as we would have liked to attend, but could not find any details. He was a very good friend for nearly 40 years and we would look forward to the times he would come to Kidderminster and stay over with us. He attended all our family parties and was God Father to our eldest daughter Siobhan.

Rest in Peace Giolla with love from Tom and Christine and all the family in UK.
