SAMARAKOON, Dr. Dom Aelred, Hon. Consul General of Sri Lanka in Ireland (formerly of Sri Lanka and London), July 5 2012, peacefully, in the presence of his family at Hammersmith Hospital, London. Beloved husband of Catherine (née Pollard), devoted father of Kelly and Jason, father-in-law of Orla, grandfather of Alice. Sadly missed by his relatives and many friends. Reposing at his residence from this Wednesday evening. Removal to The Church of Mary Immaculate, Refuge of Sinners, Rathmines on Friday morning (July 20) arriving 9:50am for 10am Funeral Mass, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold's Cross.'Life is changed, not ended'
