WHITAKER (Douglas, Cork) - August 26, 2012, (peacefully) in the loving care of St Luke's Home, surrounded by his family, David (late of Johnson & Perrott), beloved husband of Valerie (née Hall), loving father of Jimmy, Linda and Mark, adored grandfather of Jack, Alex, Sophie, David, Harry and Emily. Sadly missed by his loving family, sisters Patsy, Ann and Judy, brothers Ted and Philip, daughters-in-law Suzanne and Liz, son-in-law John, his extended family and many friends. Funeral service today (Tuesday) at 11 am in St Luke's Church, Douglas, followed by burial in adjoining churchyard. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired to The Alzheimer Society.

WHITAKER, David (Cork, August 26, 2012) - In loving memory of David, a wonderful husband, father and grandfather whose first anniversary occurs this Monday. Valerie, Jimmy, Linda and Mark and their extended families would like to thank all who sympathised and supported us in our sad loss. We wish to thank all who attended the removal and funeral service and those who sent flowers, letters of sympathy, cards and Mass Cards. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation.
