KIRWAN Edward (Ned) (Portlaoise) - July 3, 2010, Edward, beloved husband of the late Margaret and brother of the late Michael (Ballitore); deeply regretted by his loving daughters Antoine, Jean, Claire, Helen, Marie-Louise and Edwina, sister Peg (Ballitore), sons-in-law, grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. RIP. Reposing at Doyle's Funeral Home, Ballymount from 12 o'c today (Friday) with removal tomorrow (Saturday) morning at 11.30 o'c to Crookstown Church arriving for 12 o'c Requiem Mass. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

<p>A Perfect Gentleman...</p> <p>I was lucky enough to have known Ned through maintaining his comput er so he could contact his girls in America via Skype and email.</p> <p>He was a real gentleman, intelligent, kind and thoughtful - always in good humour.</p> <p>In more recent times I remember him whizzing about with his beret and scarf - a man on a mission.</p> <p>Sincere condolences to your daughters & family.</p> <p>I will miss you Ned... Greg.</p>
