McGOVERN James (Jim) (Bray, Co. Wicklow) - February 15, 2013, (peacefully), after a long illness bravely fought, in the loving care of all the staff of the Beacon Hospital, beloved husband of Noeleen, loving father of Gail, Eoin, Lesley, Niall and Philip, devoted Granddad of Jennifer, Lucy, Sophie, Harriette, Minna, Jamie and Dominic and dear brother of Brian; he will be sadly missed by Karl, Alison, Martin, Chris and Helen, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. A gathering of family and friends will take place this (Monday) evening between 6pm and 7pm at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Tuesday) at 10 o'clock in the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer, Main Street, Bray followed by funeral to Palmerstown Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations in memory of Jim to the Friends of St. Luke's Hospital, Rathgar.May he rest in peace.
McGOVERN, James (Jim) (Bray), died February 15, 2013 - On the First Anniversary of Jim's death his wife Noeleen, children Gail Eoin, Lesley, Niall and Philip, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and extended family members would like to thank all who sympathised with them on Jim's passing. Especially his colleagues in the FAI, Wicklow League, SITO and 35th Dublin Scouts. A special thanks to the team from the 6th floor of the Beacon Hospital who's wonderful care and support were a great comfort to us all. We hope this Acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our gratitude.
