GERAGHTY Seán, much-loved father of Siobhán, husband of the late Breda (Coloe) and brother of Tom, Des and the late Sé and Hughie, passed away peacefully in London on July 6th, in the loving arms of his daughter Siobhán. A lifelong republican, socialist and trade unionist, Seán's death is deeply regretted by many in the British and Irish labour movement, as well as by all the Geraghty family including Siobhán and Steve; grandsons Ciaran, Brendan and Seán; brothers Des and Tom and their spouses/partners; his many nieces, nephews, cousins and their families; and his numerous friends. Memorial gatherings, to celebrate Seán's life, in London today (Wednesday) at Marx Memorial Library, 6.30 p.m.; and in Dublin on Tuesday, July 24 at the Teachers' Club, 36 Parnell Square at 11.00 a.m., followed by burial at 1.00 p.m. in Glasnevin Cemetery.
