Mc GINLEY, Daniel Gerard (Gerry). Died December 1, 2011. As we approach the first anniversary of his death, Gerry's daughters Catherine, Carmel, Laura and Maeve, together with our familes and his brother Des, wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised with us and supported us at the time of our loss. We deeply appreciated the efforts people made to attend Gerry's removal, wake and funeral, many of you travelling long distances to be with us. Sincere thanks also to the many, many people who contacted us during his brief illness, at the time of his death and in the days and months following to offer words of comfort and condolences. To our wonderful neighbours and friends in Letterkenny for your true Donegal generosity and hospitality throughtout the days of the wake at his home in Glencar. To the staff of Letterkenny General Hospital for your kindness and professionalism in caring for Gerry and for the dignity you allowed him in his final days. Thank you to Gerry's friends and colleagues in the Saint Vincent de Paul Society for your support throughout and for your touching tribute to him in providing a guard of honour for the funeral cortege. To all of you and particularly to his friends in the Letterkenny Community Centre, The Chesire Homes, Concern and The Mental Health Association for your friendship over the years and especially in the 18 months since Nuala's death, thank you. Sincere thanks also to hospital chaplins Fathers Chambers and Gallagher for their spiritual support and to Fathers Kelly and Ferry for the uplifting and comforting funeral service. A Mass in grateful appreciation will be offered for your intentions.
