43 years of friendship

I knew Brian since I was 18 during the summer of 1968 when it was all happening with young people everywhere. We shared a room in St Pauls Avenue, Willesden, and thought nothing of walking home from Victoria after a night out at a movie. We could play Chess late into the night or indeed all night. We visited each other at least once or twice a year, with Brian coming to stay in Kilburn en route to Germany, Austria, Russia Etc and I'd kip down in my own special room in Brian's house in Glasnevin, for a stop over on my way to Arigna. I have been left with a lot of great memories of my friend, some funny, even farcical but all of them fond and dear.
