GARVEY Ruth, (Dr. Ruth Meehan), (Rathfarnham, Dublin and formerly of Clontarf), June 10, 2011, at Mount Carmel Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Christopher Garvey and dearly loved Mum of Lisa, Ed and the late Simon; fabulous Granny to Amy, Andrew and Kate, sister of Ken and the late Alan and Paul. Deeply regretted by her loving family, son-in-law Niall, daughter-in-law Viv, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Rest in peace. Removal on Monday morning to the Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham, arriving at 9.50 o'clock Funeral after 10 o'clock Mass to Bohernabreena Cemetery.
GARVEY Ruth (Dr. Ruth Meehan) (Rathfarnham, Dublin 14) First Anniversary (June 10, 2011) - Lisa, Ed and families wish to thank all of those who sympathised with us at our time of loss. Thank you to everyone who attended Mum's funeral. We are deeply grateful for your letters, flowers and cards and the kindness shown to us whilst Mum was in hospital and the weeks after her death. A special thanks to Anne Meehan for her fabulous support, kindness, good humour and for always giving Mum a great laugh on her visits to Mount Carmel. We would especially like to thank the absolutely wonderful nursing staff on the First Floor of Mount Carmel Hospital. The care, compassion and support shown to both Mum and us was overwhelming. We would also like to thank Dr. Mark Laher for his wonderful care and especially the kindness and reassurance he gave to Mum. A special word of gratitude to Fr. Martin Noone who celebrated Mum's funeral Mass and to Ruth for her beautiful singing. Thank you most sincerely to Fanagans for their professionalism. As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.
