NOLAN, John ('Riceville Lodge', Athlumney, Navan, died June 10, 2011) - On the occasion of his First Anniversary, John's wife Thérèse, sons Paul, Conor, Karl, Shane and extended family offer our sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us on our sad loss. To his colleagues, all those who travelled long distances to be with us, all who called personally to our home, our wonderful friends and neighbours, we are deeply grateful. To all who sent Mass Cards, phone calls, letters of sympathy, flowers and donations to the chosen organisations, we thank you. A special thank you to Fr. Declan Hurley ADM and Fr. Séan Nolan for the lovely celebration of the funeral Mass, to Fr. Martin Mulvaney for all his kindness, to Fiachra and Suzanne for the beautiful music which greatly added to the celebration. A special thank you to all who took care of John; the nurses and staff attached to Meath Palliative Care, the doctors at Bedford Medical Centre, to the staff at HSE Stores Navan. Our grateful thanks to Dr. Osama Salib and his Oncology team (Hermitage Clinic), Dr. Ray McDermott and his Oncology team (Tallaght Hospital) and the nurses in St. Luke's Hospital. Thanks to Padraic and Fitzsimons Funeral Directors for their professionalism and dignified manner in which they carried out all the funeral arrangements. To all who provided the Guard of Honour - the staff at Nolan's Pharmacy past and present, Knights of St. Columbanus, and Navan Rotary Club. We thank you all. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of our deepest appreciation and thanks. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. John's First Anniversary Mass is on Sunday, June 10, at 11am in St. Mary's Church, Navan.
