With deepest sympathy

Denis will be remembered by me with fondness and with deep gratitude. He helped and supported me unstintingly while studying for my PhD and set my career on its course. He later wrote references for me and enabled me to make a number of career moves. I will always remember his great kindness and his wonderful sense of humour. Thank you so much. Lynn Killen
