KIRKER Dr. John Gilbert (Malahide, late president of Royal College of Physicians of Ireland and long time president of Brainwave) - November 11, 2011 (peacefully) in the wonderful care of all the staff at St. Francis' Hospice, Raheny. Beloved husband of Mai Elizabeth (née Bamford) and dear father of Stephen, father-in-law of Fiona and grandfather of Tom, Ed and Alice who brought great joy to his later years. Funeral Service this Wednesday at Malahide Presbyterian Church at 2pm followed by Burial at St. Andrew's Churchyard, Malahide. Family flowers only, donations if desired, to Brainwave, the Irish Epilepsy Association. A Memorial Service will be held after Christmas.
