Atrue priest and friend

It was with great saddness I heard recently of the death of Fr. Gerry. He is an example for me in my priesthood.May I achieve a fraction of his ministry I will be happy. His kindness and care are his great gifts. A true priest. May he rest in peace.

An amazing Priest. Fr Gerard Harney.

I was deeply saddened today to hear in Mass about the passing of Fr Harney.

I want to talk about how I got to know this amazing man.

I first met him in 1991 when my son Jamie was diagnosed with an incurable disease. Every Sunday evening he picked myself, my Mum and Jamie up and took us to Mass. He later baptised me and was a constant support to us all.

A great Priest, but a truly amazing person who will be sadly missed.

Alie Fox

Doncaster
