PHELAN (Captain) John (Sean) (Tramore, Co. Waterford and formerly of Dublin) - November 21, 2010 (peacefully) at his home in his 88th year, following a period of illness borne with patience and great humour. Late of Dept. of Forestry and St. Leger Bar, Tramore. Much loved husband of Penelope (Penny), Limerick City, father of Penelope and Fiona, sons Aiden (deceased) and Fergus; will be sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law Niall and Douglas, daughter-in-law Martina, grandchildren, great- grandchildren, sisters Nan (Miller), Breda (Sharpe) and Laura (Fitzgerald), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. R.I.P. Reposing at his residence from 2 o'c to 4 o'c (November 23). Removal today (Tuesday) November 23, 2010, arriving at 7 o'c to Holy Cross Church, Tramore. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Wednesday) November 24, 2010 at 10 o'c, burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Waterford Carers Association.
