MOORHEAD Peter William (Rathfarnham) (died November 24, 2011). In what would have been the week of his 76th Birthday, Peter's wife Pat, his children Cari, Susan, and Peter, daughter-in-law Karina and beloved granddaughters Lara and Ellen, wish to express their sincere gratitude to all our family, friends and neighbours who lent their support in so many ways during Peter's illness and death. Thank you to all those who attended the funeral Mass, called to the house, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, and letters and gave donations to Royal Hospital Donnybrook in his memory. Thank you to Peter's many friends from Clongowes Wood College, Lansdowne Football Club and Milltown Golf Club, and his former colleagues in Euro Aluminium and Odlums who attended his funeral and continue to give us support. Special thanks to Peter's rugby and golfing friends who travelled over from the UK to be there. Our deep gratitude to Fr. Brendan Madden, P.P. Ballyroan, who helped us through a very difficult time. Our grateful thanks to Fr. John Moorhead (P.P. Eglish), Fr. Michael Sheil, S.J. (Rector, CWC) and Fr. Tom Jordan (Tallaght) who concelebrated the Requiem Mass. Thank you also to Niall Morris for his wonderful singing. Our heartfelt thanks to Mr David Fanagan and staff of Fanagans Funeral Directors for their care and professionalism at a very difficult time. Thank you to Mr Paddy Boylan, President, LFC, for facilitating us to hold lunch in Lansdowne following Peter's burial. Finally, we wish to acknowledge our grateful thanks and appreciation for the wonderful care given to Peter by the doctors and nurses of The Beacon Hospital, Sandyford, St. Michael's Hospital, Dun Laoire and the Royal Hospital Donnybrook, during his illness, and Tallaght Hospital A&E at the time of his death. Our gratitude also to the Rathfarnham District Nurses who visited Peter following his return home. It is hoped that this acknowledgement will be accepted as recognition of our deep appreciation to you all. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
