McCARTHY (née Crowley) (Dublin and Berrings, Co. Cork) - January 11, 2013, (suddenly), in the Mater Hospital, Frances, beloved wife of Alexis (Denis) of Knocklyon, Dublin 16 and The Coombe Hospital; very sadly missed by her loving family, husband, daughters Laura and Catríona, sons Liam and Brian, her mother Nora, brother Bishop Mossie Crowley, sisters Bernie (Evans), Geraldine (Donnelly), Mary (O'Connor), Patricia (Murphy) and Joan (Howard), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, her colleagues and a host of friends. May she rest in peace. Reposing at her residence tomorrow (Wednesday) from 2 o'clock with removal to St. Colmcille's Church, Knocklyon arriving at 5.30 o'clock Funeral on Thursday after 12 noon Mass to Kilmashogue Cemetery. <p>McCARTHY (née Crowley) Frances, (Knocklyon, Dublin 16 and Berrings Co Cork) died January 11, 2013 - We, the husband Alexis (Denis), children Laura, Liam, Catriona, and Brian, mother Nora, brother Bishop Mossie, sisters Bernie, Geraldine, Mary, Patricia and Joan and all of Frances's extended family would like to thank most sincerely all of our relatives, neighbours, colleagues and many friends for their support and sympathy since the tragic loss of our beloved Frances. Our sincere thanks to all who attended the reposal, removal, Requiem Mass and burial, especially to those who travelled long distances to be with us, and to those who sent Mass cards, cards, letters and messages of sympathy. We wish to particularly thank the priests, sacristan and parishioners of St. Colmcillle's Parish, Knocklyon, all the Concelebrating Clergy, singers, musicians, readers, all who contributed to Frances's Church Reception, Funeral Mass and Month's Mind and the sisters of the Carmelite Community in Firhouse. At this time, we wish to acknowledge with thanks the valiant efforts of the members of the Dublin Fire Brigade and Ambulance Service and the medical staff of the Mater Hospital who assisted Frances in her final moments, the Gardai of Store Street Garda Station and the Dublin City Coroner and his staff for their kindness, assistance and professionalism. We also wish to thank the Master, consultants, staff and colleagues of Frances from the Coombe Women and Infants University Hospital for all their support, the Memorial Mass in the hospital and the subsequent dedication ceremony. We also wish to express our thanks to all of those who contributed so generously to the Friends of the Coombe Fund. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude and heartfelt appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Frances's First Anniversary Mass takes place on Sunday January 12th 2014 at 12:30 pm in St. Colmcille's Church, Knocklyon.</p>
