HAWTHORNE, Allan English - January 10, 2013, peacefully and with dignity. Former Assistant Secretary, Ministry of Education. Late of Ballyholme, County Down. Dearly beloved husband of the late Phyllis, much loved father of Maurice and grandfather of Imogen, Zoe, Hugh and Morven. Service in Ballyholme Methodist Church on Friday at 11.30 a.m. followed by funeral at Clandeboye Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to The Alzheimers Society c/o S. Clarke & Sons Funeral Directors, 64 Newtownards Road, Bangor BT20 4DR. Fondly remembered and deeply missed by all his family and friends.
