Goodbye friend

I cannot fully express my feelings in English. I just want to say that I have never met a person with the spirit, the love for life and the positiveness that Jane had. I will never forget her neither will do Jesper, Alicia and Sonia. I learned to love Ireland and his people through Jane. She was a true and unconditional friend. I am out of words. We love you Jane

Sincere sympathy to Jane's family and friends

I have fond memories of Jane at UCD in the early '80s. She was a highly intelligent, open-minded, vivacious, warm-hearted beautiful girl. She was very popular and had many friends. I met her twice since then, the last time about 15 years ago on Grafton Street. She told me about her illness and I was edified by her courage and positive spirit. I was deeply saddened to hear of her death; I am abroad at the moment and am sorry I could not be with you to say farewell to Jane. She is in my prayers.

Fran O'Rourke, School of Philosophy, UCD.

My dear friend Jayne

Jayne, for all the good times and the difficult times we thrashed out, over endless cups ofcappuccino, I thank you. For all the words of support we exchanged I am grateful. And for having the privelege of your friendship I am humbled. For the recent times, I am sorry I could not be there for you, I hope you understood. I will truely miss you. I hope you now have total peace.

Love now and always Jayne

Your friend

Sinead

For all the interest, kindness and thought fullness

you took with everyone, regardless of how short a time you knew them, you made everyone feel special and made light of all the challenges you faced every day, always full of ideas and quick to see the comical side of whatever situation you found yourself in. Thanks for showing the relentless bravery in all you faced and always being a Jane that was nothing but 100% positive.

DP
