WHITE-SPUNNER (Luska, Puckane, Nenagh) - January 15, 2010, Dan, beloved husband of the late Joan; sadly missed by his loving daughters Kate and Libby, sons John and David, sisters Una and Eva, sons-in-law, daughters-in- law, grandchildren, relatives and many friends. R.I.P. Reposing at his residence at Luska tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon, January 21 from 2 o'clock to 6 o'clock Funeral Mass on Friday at 11 o'clock in Killbarron Church followed by burial in Killbarron Church of Ireland Graveyard. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to North Tipp Hospice and the Alzheimer Society of Ireland.

<p>Dan was unforgettable</p> <p>I met Dan only once, 10 years ago, on a brief visit to Ireland from the U.S. We are distant cousins.</p> <p>His vitality and interest in people were unforgettable. Even though our acquaintanceship was brief, he kept up a correspondence faithfully at Christmas and just a month or so ago invited me and my family to visit him again. What a dear man!</p>
