BOLAND, Michael (Highfield House, Kilsheelan, Clonmel, Co Tipperary, July 25, 2012) - Michael's wife Joan and family, grandchildren and his brother Sean remember him with love and affection at this time. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to our extended family, friends and great neighbours and all who supported us in our sad loss. We were very touched by and greatly appreciate all those who came to the house, funeral Mass and Burial, those who sent Mass Cards, letters and messages of sympathy, floral tributes and travelled long distances to do so. Our sincere thanks to all the doctors and medical staff who cared for Michael both at home and the various hospitals he attended. Our sincere appreciation to Fr Bill Carey PP whose visits to Michael were a source of great comfort. Our gratitude to Mons Michael Olden, Waterford for attending him with the Last Rites and praying with us at his deathbed. Our sincere thanks to the clergy for a very moving Funeral Mass, to Fr John Keating O Carm (cousin) who travelled from Rome, Fr Bill Carey PP and Fr Jim O'Donoghue CC (Kilsheelan), Fr Ahearne PP (Powerstown), Fr PJ Fagan (Rosminians), to all who provided the music. To Michael's lifelong friends who visited him regularly and supported him during his illness, a big thank you. Michael loved a game of cards, and to his friends and neighbours who brought him to Kilcash Bridge and Card Club every Monday and Wednesday, and who stayed all night during the wake, our heartfelt thanks. We miss Michael so much but realise how fortunate we were to have him in our lives. As a token of appreciation, the Holy Sacrifice of Mass has been offered for your intentions. Michael's first anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Saturday July 27th, 2013 at 6.15pm at Kilsheelan Parish Church.
