DUGGAN (Cork) - April 27, 2012, (peacefully), at Marymount Hospice, surrounded by his loving family, Barry (Prof), Carrigrohane; deeply missed by his beloved wife Ursula (née Russell), daughters Jennifer, Cleona and Naomi, son Jason and partner Gloria, sons-in-law Martin and Donal, his adored grandchildren Erick, Megan, Mark, Robin, Max, Christian and Lauren, sisters Mona, Breda, Berna and brother Joe, sister-in-law Bunny, brother-in-law Dermot and by his extended family and many friends. Lying in repose at the Wilton Funeral Home, Sarsfield Road of Jerh. O'Connor Ltd. Removal tomorrow (Sunday) at 3.30pm to Church of St. Mary and St. John, Ballincollig. Requiem Mass on Monday at 2pm, followed by cremation afterwards at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Marymount Hospice.
DUGGAN, Professor Barry (Oaklee, Carrigrohane, Co. Cork, died April 27, 2012) - Barry's wife Ursula and children Jennifer, Cleona, Naomi, and Jason with grandchildren and extended family express our sincere thanks to all those who attended his funeral Mass and cremation, those who sent flowers, Mass cards, letters and made phone calls. A special thanks to C.U.H., Drs Mary Cahill and Seamus O'Reilly together with the nursing staff of Dunmanway Day Unit for the wonderful care they gave Barry for which we are deeply thankful. Also Dr Tony O'Brien and staff of Marymount Hospice for all the care and attention Barry received there. To his many friends in U.C.C. and Muskerry Golf Club who showed such kindness for which we are eternally grateful. It would be impossible to thank everyone so please accept this acknowledgement as our sincere appreciation.But O for the touch of a vanished hand
And the sound of a voice that is still.
