O'BRIEN, Fergus (Ranelagh, Dublin 6) - October 18, 2010 (peacefully), after a short illness at St. Vincent's Private Hospital. Beloved son of the late Donal and Margaret (Peggy). Greatly missed but remembered with love by his partner Ambrose, his sister Mairead, brothers Eamonn and John and their partners Jim, Peggy and Christine, his nieces Sarah, Anna Rose and Grace, his relatives, his colleagues in the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General, and in a special way by a large circle of friends, whose lives he enriched. A private Humanist Celebration of Fergus's life will take place today (Thursday) in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold's Cross at 3 o'clock Family flowers only please. Donations if desired, should be made, at Fergus's request, to the Samaritans Dublin Branch, 112 Marlborough Street, Dublin 1.
