MURPHY, Michael F.R.C.S.I. (Oakpark, Tralee. Died May 8, 2010) - On the first Anniversary of Michael's death, Ita, Victor, Suzanne, Maire, Tadgh, Siobhan, Cormac and extended family wish to acknowledge and thank those who sympathised with us on the sad and sudden death of a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. We would like to thank all those who attended the Rosary, House, Removal, Funeral Mass and Burial, those who travelled long distances and those who sent Mass Cards, enrolments and letters of sympathy. A special word of thanks to the many that helped in any way, our neighbours, friends and family who were so kind and helpful. We offer sincere thanks to Diane Scanlon, Sue Ann O'Brien and Michael's long-time friends Fionan and Margot O'Carroll who provided unending support for which we are forever grateful. To Michael's colleagues and friends in Kerry General Hospital especially Tom McCormack, Dr. Patricia Sheahan and Dr. Eugene Moylan for their unwavering help and support during that difficult time. Thank you to Fr. Tadgh O'Mathuna, Fr. Pat Aherne, Fr. John Quinlan, Fr. Kieran O'Brien, the singer, sacristan, Mass servers, Mass readers, those that carried the gifts and symbols to the altar and all those who made Michael's funeral Mass so special, to the staff of Gleasures Funeral Home for their professionalism and kindness. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deep gratitude with a special acknowledgement to all the staff of Rathass Ward and Theatre where Michael spent many happy years. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Anniversary Mass will take place at 7pm on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Rathass.
