McCARTHY (née Callaghan) (Bessbrook, Newry, Co. Down and formerly of Templemore and Cloonfad, Tibohine, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon) - November 16, 2009, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff of Avila Nursing Home, Bessbrook, and the professional care staff prior to her stay there, Bríd, devoted wife of the late Jack and loving mother of Sheila, Micheál, Cormac, Brídín, Pió, Máire, Seán, Jacqueline; sadly missed by her sisters, grandchildren, great- grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters- in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. May she rest in peace. Reposing at The Sharkey Funeral Home (Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon), this Wednesday evening from 5.30 o'clock followed by removal at 6.30 o'clock to Tibohine Church arriving at 7 o'clock Mass of the Resurrection on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock with funeral proceeding to Tibohine Old Cemetery.
