GOGAN, Fr. Cothraí, C.S.Sp., Kimmage Manor, Dublin 12, - January 13, (peacefully), in the loving care of the matron and staff of Marian House nursing home, Kimmage Manor; late of Terenure Road East, Nigeria, Tanzania, Mauritius and Kenya; deeply regretted by his sister Blanaid, brother Fr. Brian C.S.Sp., nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, loving cousins and Spiritan confreres. Reposing in the Mission House, Kimmage Manor, from 12 noon tomorrow (Wednesday), January 16, prior to removal after prayers at 4:40 p.m. to the Church of the Holy Spirit, Kimmage Manor, arriving at 5:00 pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday 17th at 11:00 am., followed by burial in Dardistown.

<p>Fr. Gogan, the man changed me.</p> <p>I have to say RIP Fr. Gogan though over one year late. Fr. Gogan had a big, loving and generous heart. He gave and gave and gave some more to the last minute. I met him in Kenya in 1986 while I was in Primary Sch. and we became very good friends. He bought me a lantern to use while I studied at night. He also paid my school fees between 1988 to 1991 while I was in High School.</p> <p>I tried to trace him since then to say "Thank you for changing my life" but I did not find him. I think about him often but today when I did, I tried to look for him online and here I am.....now in tears, sad to find out he has passed on.</p> <p>RIP Fr. Gogan.</p>
