O'BRIEN, Sister Mary F. (Society of the Sacred Heart, Cedar House, 35 Mount Anville Park, Dublin 14) - March 21, 2013 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff of Cedar House Nursing Home; deeply regretted by the Cedar House community, by the rscj of the Society of the Sacred Heart in Ireland/Scotland, by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and all who knew her. Rest in peace. Vigil Service in Cedar House tomorrow (Sunday) at 4 o c. Funeral Mass in Cedar House at 11 o'c on Monday, followed by burial in the Community plot in Mount Venus Cemetery.

<p>Sister Mary F O'Brien</p> <p>Sister O'Brien taught me Science at Kilgraston in the 1960s and was a wonderful person and teacher. Deeply religious she was also a compassionate and warm human being as well as academically brilliant. I visited her on my trips to Dublin and saw her at the end of last summer when I was able to show her proof of my first class BSc degree having graduated in July as a mature full time student. She was thrilled and amazed at the same time. I was exceptionally fond of her and will miss her. RIP</p>
