FITZSIMONS, Very Rev. Canon Patrick J. (Retired Parish Priest, Church of the Good Shepherd, Churchtown) - November 16, 2009, peacefully, in the loving care of the Little Sisters of the Poor, at the Holy Family Residence, Roebuck Road, Dublin 14; deeply regretted by his loving sister-in-law Nancy, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, his long-serving housekeeper Ellen, Archbishop Diarmuid Martin, Cardinal Desmond Connell, the priests of the Diocese, parishioners of Churchtown Church and his many friends. Rest in peace. Prayers this (Wednesday) evening at the 5.15 o'clock in the Holy Family Residence, Roebuck Road, prior to removal at 5.40 o'clock to Church of the Good Shepherd, Churchtown arriving at 6 o'clock Requiem Mass tomorrow (Thursday) at 11 o'clock followed by burial in the adjoining Church Grounds.
