McCARTHY (née Kinsella) Maureen (Rathfarnham, Dublin and formerly of Garville Avenue, Rathgar) - July 3, 2010 (peacefully) at St. Vincent's University Hospital, Elm Park. Beloved wife of the late John (formerly of Glandore, Co.Cork), much loved mother of Marion (Byrne), Breda (Lane), Angela (Pugh), Clare (Smyth), Drs. Michael and Anthony McCarthy and Pauline (Meany) and beloved sister of Sheila and the late Peggy (Feighery) and Jack. Sadly missed by her loving children, sister, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives (especially Sr. Catherine and Finn) and friends. Removal tomorrow (Wednesday) evening to arrive at the Church of The Annunciation, Rathfarnham at 5 o'clock Funeral Mass on Thursday morning at 10 o'clock followed by burial in Bohernabreena Cemetery. House private. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to Concern, 52-55 Lower Camden Street, Dublin 2."Requiem in pace"

<p>Auntie Maureen</p> <p>MaureenI enjoyed the lunches so much with you and Peggy.The "frank" exchange of views ok arguing.</p> <p>On one occasion I stayed with you in Rathfarnham. During lunch in Dunboyne we were having one of our usual discussions with differing points of view, in the midst of which you said to me "John remember where you are staying". I replied" That's a very good point Maureen". Peggy got huge enjoyment out of that exchange.</p> <p>Rest in peace Maureen. You were always my favourite Aunt.</p>
