FOLENS, Juliette (née Devos) (August 2nd, 1923, Brussels - January 30th, 2013, Dublin) - Juliette's children, Hilda, Dirk and Leentje, and their families, would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on the loss of their beloved mother. We thank Fr. Martin Noone in Rathfarnham, and Juliette's long-time friend, Fr Seamus Toohey, for celebrating the Requiem Mass. We would also like to thank those who supported our mother and made it easier for her to stay at home during her final years. We greatly appreciate the kindness of the many loyal employees of Folens Publishing, both past and present, who were like family to her. Thanks also to her many Irish and Flemish friends and her neighbours. We found consolation in the kind words and letters from so many upon whom she left an indelible impression. We would like to thank friends and relations who travelled from Belgium for the funeral. We remember also at this time her beloved husband, Albert. Her ashes will be scattered in Bissegem in Flanders on his 10th anniversary. May they rest in peace together. As it would be impossible to write to all who attended the funeral, or who wrote or called to the family, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
