NELSON Gerard (Malahide) Died August 6, 2009 - Gerard's children Elizabeth, Jacqueline, Gerard (Jnr.), Michele, and Patrick, daughter-in-law Eleanor, grandchildren Molly and Eve, together with his sisters and brother and his extended family, wish to thank sincerely all neighbours and friends who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement. Sincere gratitude to those who sent Mass Cards, Spiritual Bouquets, Letters of Sympathy and Floral Tributes, and to all who attended the removal and funeral Mass. A special word of thanks to Fr. Michael Shiels of St. Vincent de Paul Church, Marino who celebrated a very fitting funeral Mass and to Frs. Liam Murtagh, Hugh Daly, Martin Noone, Paul Kenny, John Lyng OSA, who supported the family at this time, also to Bill McMahon and the choir for the beautiful singing. We would like to thank the nurses, carers, staff and Fr. Enda Watters (Chaplain) of the Royal Hospital, Donnybrook for the kindness, care, and attention, they gave to Gerard during his long illness, and to his loyal friends who visited him over the years. Thanks to the Connolly family, Fr. Joe Ryan (Chaplain), and members of the Order of Malta who paid a wonderful tribute to Gerard. We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our deep appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
