PEET Helga (Shankill, Co. Dublin, formerly Cork and Berlin) - November 5, 2012, (peacefully), in the exceptional care of the wonderful staff of Kinvara House Nursing Home, Bray, after an illness bravely borne, beloved wife of the late George, very dear mother of Helen, (lovingly supported by her partner Michael) Robert and Francis; sadly missed by her grandchildren Graham, Trevor, Ashley, Martina and Rob, great-grandchildren Georgina, Hannah, Robert and Hayden, daughters-in-law Eva and Ann-Marie and by her wonderful neighbours the Mackeys and the Murtaghs. Funeral Service tomorrow (Friday, November 9) at 11 o'clock in Rathmichael Parish Church, Shankill, Co. Dublin followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. Helga was one of the first au pair to arrive in Ireland after leaving war torn Berlin. Eventually as they say "she became more Irish than the Irish themselves" and she absolutely loved the people of Ireland."We love you Mum, rest in peace"
