KIRWAN Christopher (Christy), November 24, 2013, (Perrystown, Dublin), peacefully after an illness bravely borne in the kind care of the staff at St. James's Hospital, much loved husband of the late Bernadette and much loved father of Ciarán, Nóirín and Shane, daughters-in-law Susan and Susan, son-in-law Paul, and adored granddad of Eva, Tara and Conn. He will be sadly missed by his loving family, his sister Patricia and his brothers Joe, Tommy and Shay, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. May he Rest in Peace. Reposing at his daughters residence today (Tuesday) from 5.00pm until 8.00pm. Funeral will take place tomorrow (Wednesday) after 10.00 o'clock Mass at The Church of the Holy Spirit, Kimmage Manor followed by burial at Kilmashogue Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to The Irish Cancer Society.
KIRWAN Christopher (Christy) died November 24th 2013 - On the First Anniversary of his death Ciaran, Noirin and Shane, daughters-in-law, Susan and Susan, son-in-law Paul and grandchildren Eva, Tara and Conn, together with his sister Patricia and brothers Joe, Tommy and Shay would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us and supported us throughout Christy's illness and his death, all those who phoned, called to the house, attended the funeral Mass and burial and all those who sent Mass Cards and messages of sympathy. We would like to give particular thanks to Dr Deirbhile O'Donnell and her team at St. James's Hospital and to Dr Viehe and to the priests of Church of The Holy Spirit, Kimmage Manor for their support. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
