CONDON Colm (Dalkey, Co. Dublin and Ashbourne, Co. Meath), who died on August 9, 2008 - Following the first anniversary of his death Colm's daughters and sons and their spouses, his sisters and his fourteen grandchildren wish to thank all our relatives and friends who sympathised with us on our heartbreaking loss. We wish to thank Dr. M. Laher and the staff of the Blackrock Clinic who showed Colm such care and compassion in his final illness. Our heartfelt thanks also go to family and dear friends who visited Colm in hospital and to those who attended his removal and funeral Mass. We are most grateful to Fr. O'Moore and Fr. Clarke of Monkstown Church and to An Uachtaran na h-Eireann and An Taoiseach who were represented at Colm's funeral Service. Thank you to Colm's many colleagues but in particular to Seamus McKenna S.C., a life-long friend whose brave and truthful words brought us such solace. We extend our particular gratitude to Fr. Jim Lynch and Fr. Sean Egan whose healing ministry reached out to us in our deepest sorrow. Our heartfelt thanks also to all of those dear friends and family who attended and participated in the family Memorial Mass, especially Colm's much loved nieces and nephews. Your loving support, appreciative tributes and musical talents blessed his farewell with special grace and consolation. Finally we extend our thanks to all those who sent cards, letters of sympathy and floral tributes; to all who took time out of busy lives to say a prayer, think a fond thought, travel a long road, reminisce with us, cry with us, laugh with us and remember Colm with us; with love. Colm lives on in our memories, in who we are and how we live and in the hearts and minds of his fourteen beautiful and beloved grandchildren. "The sun goes down but the flowers that it touched continue to bloom". Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation and gratitude, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
