O'CONNELL (née O'Rourke), Joan, September 28, 2011 - On the first anniversary of Joan's death, her family would like to thank most sincerely those who sympathised with us on our sad loss. We wish to warmly thank our extended family, friends, those who attended the removal and funeral Mass and those who sent Mass Cards, messages and letters of sympathy. We would also like to thank Fr. Conleth Meehan of St. Laurence's Parish who celebrated Joan's funeral Mass. Finally we would like to thank most sincerely the staff of St Vincent's University Hospital and particularly the nurses of St. John's ward, for the care and kindness shown to Joan during her final illness. We hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation.
