O'HANLON (Pat) (Shanaway Road, Ennis and formerly of Howth Road, Raheny) - Pat's wife Ann, daughter Lorraine, son Fergal, father Shane, sisters, brothers, mother-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and relatives wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on the death of our beloved Pat. We thank those who called personally, many of whom had travelled long distances, those who attended his removal, funeral and burial and the hundreds who sent Mass cards, messages of sympathy, floral tributes and made donations to the Irish Cancer Society. A heartfelt thanks to all our wonderful friends and colleagues who supported us through Pat's short illness. A special thanks to Sean Boyle who made his home our home during our time in Galway. We deeply appreciate the loving care and support of the medical, palliative care teams and nurses of St. Anne's Ward in U.H.G., of not only Pat but of his extended family at that time. Thanks to those who prepared our home for Pat's final return and those who provided food and refreshments at that time. We extend gratitude to all those involved in Pat's funeral arrangements for their sensitivity and professionalism. Special thanks to Pat's uncle Fr. Joseph P. Delaney P.P., Newport, Co. Tipperary, who made Pat's funeral Mass a moving and touching occasion for us all. Also, to the priests of Ennis Parish and Fr. Joe's colleagues who concelebrated Mass. To the organists, soloists and choir who sang at his funeral Mass and month's mind we offer thanks for the beautiful music. A special word of thanks is due to Pat's Ulster Bank colleagues and others who provided guards of honour. We also wish to express our thanks to the customers of the Ulster Bank and members of all other associations that Pat was involved with, for their expressions of sympathy. We extend a word of thanks to the Gardai in Ennis for their invaluable help and service. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation and gratitude to all. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
