HARKIN, John (Rathfarnham, Norfolk and Swinford) died 21st December 2008 suddenly, aged 58. First Anniversary. Much loved husband of Daphne, wonderful Dad to sons Simon, Mark, David and daughter Julie, only brother to Anna May, Esther (Hunt) and Trisha. We would like to thank all those who sympathised with us. The love and support we continue to receive from you all is a measure of the affection and regard that you had for John. Thank you to family, friends and work colleagues at Roughan O'Donovan and to all those who travelled from U.S.A., Scotland, Norfolk, Swinford, Kerry, Galway and all over Ireland to attend the funeral and graveside on Christmas eve. We are heartbroken by John's sudden departure but knowing that our loss is shared by so many that knew him is a great comfort to us."Absent from the body - Present with the Lord"
