RUSSELL (Bridget) (Breidge) (Dundrum and late of Garrafrauns, Dunmore, Co. Galway) (February 7, 2010) - Breidge's family, her sons Liam, John, daughters Philomena, Adrienne and Deirdre, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, together with her sisters Nora, Kathleen and Maureen, brother- in-law John, sisters-in-law Pauline and Patricia and nieces and nephews would like to thank the very many people who sympathised with us in our sad loss. We also remember Breidge's brother Frank who passed away around this time. Breidge was a true friend and touched our lives in many ways. To those who sent Mass Cards, Seraphic certificates, letters of condolence, and floral tributes, made calls and attended her Mass and funeral, many having travelled long distances, we thank you. We are grateful to Breidge's many great neighbours and friends in Drommartin for their friendship and kindness to her and our late father Vinny throughout the years. To those who visited Mammy during her illness, made phone calls, wrote letters to her and brought gifts which she so enjoyed, we thank you for taking the time, it greatly enriched her life. We would like to thank Matron Mary and staff at Cairn Hill Nursing home, Foxrock for their excellent care, which enabled Mammy to feel secure and contented, this has been a great source of comfort for the family. Thanks also to Dr Paddy Feeney and his team for the care and attention shown to both Daddy and Mammy over the years. Thank you to Fr. Dermott Lane for the beautiful prayers at Breidge's home on the morning of her funeral; to the priests of St Laurence O'Toole, Kilmacud for the funeral Service. Thank you also to Alison Miller, soloist, for her beautiful singing, and to Fanagans Funeral Undertakers for their professionalism and help. To our many friends and colleagues who supported us in so many ways during Mammy's illness and around the time of her passing we are truly grateful. As we have been unable to contact every person individually we ask that this message be accepted as an expression of our sincere appreciation for all your support at such a difficult time."And when life's sweet fable ends,
soul and body part like friends;
no quarrels, murmurs, no delay:
a kiss, a sigh and so away."
