HANRATTY (née Scallan), Bridget (died January 15, 2009). As the First Anniversary of Bridget's death approaches, we want to thank a great many people: the doctors, nurses and other staff at St. Vincent's Private Hospital who did everything possible for her and us during her illness; our families, friends and neighbours who were so kind and helpful during a very challenging period; her colleagues and students in UCD, past and present; her former colleagues and past pupils from Loreto Abbey Boarding School; the Board of Management, staff, students and parents of Tallaght Community School; the priests of Rathfarnham Parish and all the other priests who attended her removal, the many priests led by Monsignor Dan O'Connor who concelebrated her beautiful Funeral Mass; Marie Cruise and the choir who added so much to the occasion; countless others who came from near and far to pay their respects and those who sent Mass Cards, sympathy cards and letters some of which were wonderfully moving. The kindness, solidarity and support shown to us was awe inspiring and will be forever appreciated. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for all your intentions. We are bringing forward the celebration of Bridget's First Anniversary Mass to Sunday December 27 in Rathfarnham at 4.30 p.m. - all welcome - Pat, Conor, Aidan, Mary and Catherine.
