Ó HANNRACHÁIN (Gertie and Fachtna) - The family of the late Gertie and Fachtna, Richelieu Park, Ballsbridge, Dublin, who died on November 13, 2009 and January 27, 2010 respectively, would like to thank all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavements. To those who sent Mass Cards, wreaths and flowers, letters and messages of condolence, we extend our sincere gratitude. To all those relatives, family friends, neighbours, former colleagues and in particular to those who travelled long distances to attend the Removals and Funeral Masses, we thank you sincerely - your presence was deeply appreciated by us. We also wish to extend our gratitude to the director and staff of Mount Tabor Nursing Home, Sandymount, for their kindness and the level of care provided to Gertie in her final months of illness; to the Gardaí, doctor and ambulance crew who attended Fachtna on the day of his death, to Dr. John Ryan, to the parish clergy - Rev. Frs. Fergus O' Connor and Charles Connolly - Merrion Rd. who co-operated so courteously with Frs. Mícheál Mac Laifeartaigh, ODC, Nioclás Ó Maidín, ODC, Máirtín Ó Conaire, ODC and Fr. Dermot McCarthy during the Funeral services; to the conductor and choir members of Enchiriadis and to all those musicians who paid such a wonderful tribute during both Funeral Masses to Gertie and Fachtna's love of music. A final word of thanks, on our behalf, to Kirwan's Funeral Directors who ensured that the funeral arrangements, cremations and burials were carried out with efficiency and sensitivity. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
