HOLMES (Limerick) - January 20, 2011 (peacefully) at home in the loving care of his family. Dr Gordon A. (Cliftonville, Ennis Road, late Chairman, Holmes O'Malley Sexton Solicitors). Beloved husband of Hilary, dearly loved father of Keith, Valerie, Gordon and Melanie, much-loved grandfather to Jessica, Daniel, Olivia, Callum, Megan and Isaac, brother of the late Dr. Robert and Dr. John; sadly missed by his loving wife, family, sons-in-law, Dermot (Hamill) and Daragh (Hassett), daughter-in-law Carina and future daughter-in-law Brette, grandchildren, sister Carmel (Holmes de Romero), sisters-in-law Colette (Holmes), Ena (Holmes), Clare (Mathews) and Ethna (Cotter), brothers-in-law Joe (Carton) and David (Carton), nephews, nieces, relatives and a wide circle of colleagues and friends. May he rest in peace. Reposing at Thompson's Funeral Home, Thomas Street this (Friday) evening from 5 o'c to 7 o'c followed by removal to Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road, requiem Mass tomorrow (Saturday) at 11 o'c, funeral afterwards to Castlemungret Cemetery.
