Our thanks to our many friends and neighbours for their kind support and sympathy and to those who attended the removal and funeral Mass. We also thank those who travelled long distances, sent many kind letters, Mass and sympathy cards, telephone calls and made donations to the Irish Cancer Society. A special word of thanks to Bishop Willie Walsh, Bishop Fiachra O'Ceallaigh, Fr Anthony Gaughan P.P., Fr Bill Fortune, Monsignor Michael Nolan, Fr John Callanan UCD Chaplaincy, Fr Paddy Sheehan, Fr Pat Downes and Br Sean Mac Namara, who officiated at the funeral services. To the President and Staff of University College Dublin, our sincere appreciation for their special and very moving Memorial Mass for Colm. Our thanks also to all those who attended from many other colleges and educational institutions. Our special thanks to the doctors and nurses at St Luke's Hospital and St Vincent's University Hospital for their care and kindness to Colm during his illness. To The Clare Association for their support, kindness and friendship, and for their special Memorial Mass for Colm. To Tony Mulvey of The Clare Champion for his kind and extensive tribute to Colm, we acknowledge with heartfelt appreciation. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
