BERGIN Denis J. (Heidelberg, Ardilea, Dublin 14) (First Anniversary, November 17, 2006) - On the first anniversary of Denis's death his wife, Gretta and family, Anne, Denis, Maurice, Caroline and Marian would like to thank sincerely all our friends who supported us and sympathised with us during Denis's illness. For the many many people who attended his funeral, sent Mass Cards and wrote to us and sent flowers we will be forever grateful. Special thanks to Dr. Carton and Cathy Davies and the staff of the I.C.U. in the Mater Hospital for their work day and night while he was critically ill and to Dr. Morgan Crowe and his team and the carers in St. Vincent's hospital for their dedication during his last weeks. We will not forget the nursing care throughout his illness in both hospitals. Thanks also to Fr. Noel Barber S.J., Fr. Brian Grogan S.J., Fr. John Guiney S.J., Fr. Michael Shiel S.J. and Fr. Derek Cassidy S.J. who concelebrated Denis's funeral Mass in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook which was kindly made available by Fr. Carroll P.P. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions in gratitude for all your kindnesses in our sad loss of our beloved Denis.
