HEFFERNAN, Andrew (Sandy) (Milverton, Skerries, Co. Dublin) (Died June 9, 2008) - Sandy's brother Joe, his sisters Joan and Claire wish to thank most sincerely the many relations and friends who travelled from abroad and from many parts of Ireland to attend his funeral. Your Mass cards, messages of sympathy and flowers were much appreciated. Thanks to his great friends in Skerries for their kindness and care of him during his illness. To doctors John, Jack and Sarah Keane, the consultants, medical teams and staff of Beaumont, Blanchardstown and St Luke's Hospitals. Thank you to Fr Leo and Fr Richard, go raibh maith agat. To all the members of Skerries Rugby Club, to Bells Catering, to Skerries Community Alert, to his Home Care team, to Dunbar Rugby Club in Scotland and to the Leinster Branch, many thanks. To his AIB colleagues, IBOA friends and to the Irish Bankers Club, we say thank you and also to the Members of Fingal County Enterprise Board. We would like to acknowledge the professionalism of Joseph Lannon Funeral Director, Skerries together with Margaret Brennan, soloist, and her accompanist. As it would be extremely difficult to locate many individual addresses, we trust that this notice will be acceptable as a token of our sincere appreciation.
