WHELAN (Michael) (Monkstown, Dublin and formerly Athenry, Co. Galway) - April 24, 2007 (peacefully), in the loving care of the doctors and staff of the Blackrock Clinic, beloved husband of Maureen and loving father of Ann-Maeve, Fr Gerry S.J., Brian and Roger; will be sadly missed also by his son-in-law Damien, daughters-in-law Anna and Julie and grandchildren Jennifer, Conor, Sarah, Eda, Louis, Sophie, Isabel, Michael, Laura, John and Maggie, sisters Carmel (Torpey) and Marie (Gardiner), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Rest in peace. Removal this (Wednesday) evening to St Patrick's Church, Monkstown arriving at 6 o'clock Funeral tomorrow (Thursday) after 11 o'clock Mass to Shanganagh Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society.
