DILLON, Michael (Julianstown, Co. Meath) - On this the first anniversary of Michael's death on March 15, 2007, Nuala, Paul, Claire and Suzie wish to thank everyone who helped us care for Michael during his illness. We especially would like to thank Elizabeth, Francesca, Carmel, Paula, Helen, Jean, Martina and Dr. Patrick Shortall who cared for him so well when he came home from hospital. Thank you to his colleagues from St. Patrick's College, Drumcondra who visited and entertained him in such difficult circumstances. It is difficult to single out people but we could not have managed without Roisin, Sean, Neasa, Dr. Deirdre Lynch, Paddy Mullarkey (Michael's oldest friend), our friends in Sutton and work colleagues in Warrenmount Secondary School and Coyle Hamilton Willis. We want to thank the large number of people who attended the funeral and with whom we did not get an opportunity to speak because of the inclement weather. To Fr. Tom Woods C.M., who visited regularly and celebrated the funeral Mass, Fr. Brendan Stein C.M., Fr. Joe McCann C.M. and Fr. Fachtna McCarthy who assisted - many thanks. It was very comforting for us to hear Jim and Pauric speak so eloquently about Michael. We, together with Michael's brothers and sisters, wish to thank everyone who attended the Mass in Coalisland and the Month's Mind Mass in St Patrick's College. We also wish to thank the musicians and choirs who played and sang so beautifully at the Masses and made them so memorable. We wish to acknowledge the numerous Mass cards, letters of sympathy, donations to the Irish Cancer Society, floral tributes, phone calls and visits since Michael's death. To our families, friends and neighbours in Ireland and Belgium who have been so supportive and attentive since, our heartfelt thanks. And finally to Townley Funeral Directors, our thanks for conducting the funeral and burial in such a way as to fulfil all our requests."He will be with us forever"
