BEHAN, Betty (née Cooke) (Delgany, Co. Wicklow and late of Tullinaglug, Tourlestrane, Co. Sligo) - Betty passed away very peacefully on May 31, 2008. We, Denis, Andrew and Simon and our extended families wish to thank most sincerely all those who offered sympathy and support during our recent sad loss. We thank those who attended prayers, the removal, the Mass and the burial, especially those who travelled long distances. Thank you also to all those friends and family who called, sent Mass cards, messages of condolence, made telephone calls, sent flowers and gifts. Your support and love continues to be greatly appreciated and helps us through this sad and difficult time. We are truly grateful and thankful to the doctors, nurses and caring staff in the Oncology Day Unit and the Florence Nightingale Unit in the Blackrock Clinic. They were a wonderful support to Betty and her family for the last 2 years. Thanks to Fr Gerry who was a regular and cheerful visitor, particularly on his last visit after an arduous journey. We thank the Carmelite Sisters in Delgany and the priests of the parish for their support and prayers. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a genuine token of our deep appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Betty will be deeply and widely missed and her Month's Mind Mass will be offered at the Carmelite Monastery in Delgany at 9.30 am on Saturday, June 28.
