RICKARD George Anthony (died August 19, 2009, late of 21 Springfield Drive, Dooradoyle, Limerick) - His wife Mary, daughters Bennery, Clair and Jean, sons Patrick, Sean and George, and extended family members wish to thank very sincerely all those who sympathised with us on our great loss. We deeply appreciate the support of our relatives, friends and neighbours during George's illness. We would like to thank all those in the caring professions who minded him with dignity and good humour. Thank you to the staff of Ward 3D in the Mid West Regional Hospital for their quiet support and help during George's final days. Thanks also to the staff of St Paul's Nursing Home, Abbot Close Nursing and Milford Hospice who also looked after George at various stages of his illness. Thanks to the home care workers, particularly Angela and Siobhan, who looked after George at home. Thanks also to Drs Andrew Kelly and Richard O'Flaherty who treated George during his illness. Thank you to Thompson's for their expert handling of the funeral arrangements. Thanks to Fr Leonard and Fr Boyce, and Anna Cullinane of St Paul's Parish for their assistance to us. Thanks to all those who travelled long distances to be with us, particularly Ron and Mary Schlitt and for Ron's contribution to the funeral Mass. Thanks to all our relatives in Clare for their help in organising everything at the graveside. Thanks to the American Legion for honouring George. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions. The Month's Mind Mass will take place on Sunday, September 20 at 10am in St Paul's Church.
