GEERT, Jan (Gerry) van Soest (Ballybit Lodge, Lisnavagh, Rathvilly, Co. Carlow) - His big heart suddenly stopped beating at Lisnavagh on Tuesday, March 11th, 2008. Lieve Pappie to Jessica and Barbara, Lieve Opa to Sebastiaan and Michiel, and Lieve Geert Jan to Nieske, Pepi, Pip, Maggie, Jan Kees, Rob, Hanno and Rosebud. We will miss his huge presence, as will all his family, friends and his dogs. Funeral Service tomorrow (Saturday) in St. Mary's Church, Rathvilly at 3 o'clock and burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard."A Good Man, and A Great Life".
