BARTELS (Eyeries, Beara, Co. Cork) - February 18, 2010 (peacefully) at home in the presence of his family, Hans, husband of the late Gini, beloved husband of Mary and loving father of Adriaan, Edina, Sean, Siuna and Esther; deeply regretted by his wife, children and grandchildren Con, Hugo, Jack, Charlotte and Hannah, also Catherine, Guillaume, Barry and Manu, sister Jannie, brother Henk, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. House open from 7pm. Service will take place today (Saturday) at 2pm in St. Kintigerns Church, Eyeries, followed by burial in Kilcatherine Cemetery.

<p>Herinnering aan oom Hans</p> <p><br />Oom Hans,</p> <p>De jongste broer van mijn vader. Ondernemend en hartelijk. Een geweldig gevoel voor humor. In het kippenhok van oude opa stond zijn motorfiets, een Jawa 350. Als neefje van 10, oplogeren bij opa en oma, droomde ik erop te mogen rijden.</p> <p>Als hij thuiskwam uit Kenya was het zeer bijzonder. De hele familie kwam samen. Hij vertelde boeiend en ook weer met veel humor.</p> <p>Een bijzonder persoon. Mary, wij houden van jou en de kinderen en wensen je veel sterkte.</p> <p>Frits en Joukje Bartels.</p>
