O'DONOGHUE Deirdre (Derry) (Nenagh, Co. Tipperary) died October 19, 2008 - On the occasion of Derry's first anniversary, her husband John, brothers and sisters, would like to thank everyone for their support and kindness in the year since her death. We thank especially all those who travelled long distances to attend Derry's Funeral Mass and Burial, all those who sent Mass and Sympathy Cards and letters of condolence. We wish to acknowledge and thank her consultant, Prof. K. O'Byrne, and his team of doctors and nurses in St. James's Hospital, Dublin for their exemplary treatment, care and kindness throughout her illness. We remember also the care and kindness of doctors and nurses in St. Luke's Hospital. We include in our thanks and prayers the doctors and nurses at Milford Care Centre who looked after her so well during her final days in their care. There are many others we wish to thank including Fr. Tom Whelan, Chief Celebrant at her Mass; the organist and choir for their contribution to a simple and moving ceremony; and O'Halloran's Funeral Undertakers for their care, professionalism and support throughout. Since it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope you will accept this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Anniversary Mass will be celebrated in St. Mary of the Rosary Church, Nenagh today (Saturday) October, 17 at 7 pm.
